Mary M. Lee nee LaVecchia, 87, of Mt. Prospect passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Robert E. Lee. Loving mother of John Lee, Mary (David) Bennett, Jenney (Tom) Hanrahan, the late Vincent Lee, Judy (Chris) Kannenberg, Robert E. (Amy) Lee. Cherished Grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 1. Dearest sister of Vito (Rita) LaVecchia, Margaret (the late Martin) Serro, Frank (Frances) LaVecchia, Martha (Tony) Hudek. Fond Aunt and Cousin of many. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Vincenzo and Giovanna LaVecchia.
Visitation Wednesday 3-9 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect. Funeral Thursday from the funeral home 11 AM for Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Emily Church, 1400 E. Central Rd, Mt Prospect. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
